Curious about running costs?

Electric floor heating is highly energy-efficient, with low ongoing running costs. To support our customers, Coldbuster provides a user-friendly Running Cost Calculator to approximate the cost of running underfloor heating. It’s free to use. Customers can input their own variables such as their average electricity tariff, the area to be heated, and the type of heating required such as under tile, under timber, under carpet, in-screed, and in-slab. To estimate the yearly running cost the tool also takes into consideration whether solar energy is being used and the estimated number of days that heating will be required.

A key factor in the overall value proposition is that Coldbuster Floor Heating does not require any ongoing maintenance, and comes with a 25-Year Warranty for floor heaters.

Coldbuster provides a full range of thermostats, including smart programmable thermostats to allow users to run their floor heating in the most efficient manner.

Coldbuster Floor Heating running costs are not nearly as high as people believe. Our Smart Programmable Thermostats allow you to run your floor heating in the most efficient manner by:

‘Learning’ the room in order to minimise preheat time based on your custom schedule
Turns off and on automatically to maintain the desired temperature
Has 4-6 temperature changes per day for you to set to suit your schedule
Costs can be reduced even further by solar power and even more so with batteries!
